We are having an ongoing problem in the southern California desert (Palm Springs Area) with effloresence on our concrete walkways, pool decking and driveway. We also get it on a tiled patio. Worse after rain, but always visible in cooler weather when areas are hosed or wet from sprinkler water. There is a lot of calcium in our
water -- and we also get a heavy build up of lime/calcium on our pool tile and and a spill-way.
Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated. To replace the existing (7 year old) concrete around our large home would be very expensive.
