Do you have any articles or web addresses for info pertaining to the effect of fire on a block foundation? For example, in new construction if a fire destroys the wood frame structure but leaves the foundation and basement floor with some cracks, is it possible that the long-term durability of the block has been compromised? If the cracks are repaired is the block foundation as reliable as one which was not involved in a fire?
