We have a design for an exterior wall, 17 feet high, which calls for the lowest 2'-8" as split-face cmu with brick veneer above to top of wall. Do you see any problem with the load of the brick veneer resting fully on the cmu veneer? We will have vertical joints spaced as needed the full height of the wall. All veneer will utilize proper ties to the back-up wall.
