It is my understanding that more attention needs to be paid to soils when considering a tilt up structure. Evidently you are not alone with this problem quite a few tilt up buildings have had trouble with foundation settlement. As I am not an expert on tilt up I would refer to Mr. Tom Harmon of Washington University in St. Louis Missouri. Mr. Harmon has done extensive research on the subject of both masonry and tilt up construction. He had mentioned the subject of foundation settlement with tilt up structures and would be better able to identify your specific problem.
